The MC-FP program is designed to be completed online at your convenience. All Modules may be started
and then suspended for some time. This allows Diplomates the option of completing a Module over time
(not all at one sitting).
With MC-FP comes the option of extending the original 7-year certificate to ten years. In order to extend
this certificate, Diplomates must complete MC-FP requirements by specified deadlines. If the deadlines
are not met in a timely fashion, the Diplomate will continue to be certified for seven years. Regardless
of which option the Diplomate chooses, there are MC-FP requirements that must be completed prior to
applying for the next recertification exam.
